Cold Stone Creamery has announced their nominees for ‘Best Ice Cream Creation in a Motion Picture Category,’ based on the 2003 Oscar nominations. ‘Lord of the Swirls’ won last year; will ‘Lord of the Oreos: The Two Cookies’ take home the award this year?

The Hobbit: not just for GameCube anymore!

Sierra Entertainment has announced…that adventure game The Hobbit is to go multi-platform. The title was originally in development for GameCube, but Bilbo Baggins and his dwarf and wizard entourage will now be heading to PC, GBA, Xbox and PS2 as well.

…even if the name is obscure. TTT is in the running for several (odd) ‘Altie’ awards, including Best Soundscape and The Big Award (think of this one as ‘Best Picture’).

But the public chose LOTR, so draw your own conclusions…
