UK based magazine Empire has released a special booklet to accompany its latest issue (January 2004). The booklet features interviews with most of the cast and crew, and is the magazine’s tribute to the final chapter of the trilogy.

CBBC are going to be screening an interactive TV programme to mark the opening of RotK. For a chance to appear on the programme enter the competition at cbbcnews.

Orlando and Elijah to appear on The Tonight Show

Scheduled to appear as guests on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, are Elijah Wood (Frodo) who will appear on Wednesday 3rd December followed by Orlando Bloom (Legolas) on Friday 5th December. The Tonight Show airs in the US on NBC at 11:35 PM ET.

Air NZ add to their LotR fleet

In total there will be four planes emblazoned with characters from the LotR: Aragorn and Legolas; Arwen and Éowyn; Frodo and Sam; and one yet to be revealed.

The Frodo & Sam aircraft is to do a flyover at the Word Premiere on Dec. 1st.
