Past Watchful Dragons

The Past Watchful Dragons conference will take place from 3rd to 5th November at Belmont University, Nashville, Tennessee. Dealing primarily with the work of CS Lewis, the conference will also consider the work of other writers, including JRR Tolkien, who were associated with CS Lewis. There are further details about this event here.

On the final night of the conference, 5th November the Nashville Symphony Orchestra will present a performance of Howard Shore’s Lord of the Rings Symphony.

Lord of the Rings Exhibition – Indiana

Tickets for the LotR exhibition at the Indiana State Museum will go on sale to museum members on 1st July and to the general public on 1st August. The exhibition opens on 6th October 2005 and closes on 3rd January 2006.

LotR ticket sales reach $7 million

Advance ticket purchases for the stage version of Lord of the Rings reached $7 million (Canadian) in the first week of sales. The production will premiere in Toronto in February 2006. You can read the full story at Playbill News.
