Ian McKellen to play Gandalf?
The Bolton News report that Ian McKellen is “likely” to play the role of Gandalf in the film version of The Hobbit.

I would LOVE to see Ian back as Gandalf!!!
as far as i am concerned, he’s the ONLY Gandolf…i think he’s got the mysterious part of it down

Ian’s got it down, man. I didn’t even think of anyone else playing Gandalf when I heard that The Hobbit was being filmed.
