Peter Jackson has responded to a statement by New Line Cinema chief Robert Shaye, in which Shaye said Jackson will never work for New Line Cinema again.
I’ve followed the exchange, and all I can say, without being fully aware of the legal mess they’re in, is that Shaye definitely lost the battle of wits. PJ was clean-cut and quite restrained in his statement; Shaye seemed more of a spoiled child whose favourite toy got wrecked and now he can’t get enough of complaining about it. Hm, too bad. I don’t understand why they simply don’t accept the film audit, though.;)
