Warner has finally announced that it will be making a Blu-Ray edition for the Fellowship of the Ring, at least, and that the whole trilogy might be following. You can read more about it here.

YAY!!!!!!!!! I can get another copy of all three movies!!!!!! And my husband can’t say anything because it will be a “valid” reason because he went and bought the hi-def t.v. and all the other fancy h.d. stuff.

Hey guys, I’ve never seen it so how much of a difference does Blu-ray make to picture quality as opposed to a DVD? I don’t want to fork out the money if it’s just like, “There was this hair on Pippins head that I could never catch on my DVDs, but with Blu-Ray…” You know.

About time, I can’t wait to see LotR on blu-ray. I seriously hope it is the extended editions though. I never watch the theatrical anymore and can’t see spending the money on theatrical blu-rays if they end up putting out the extendeds later.
