Hummmmmm… I was pretty sure that he based Sindarin upon Welsh… not all the elvish languages which it what it seams that she’s implying….
And it’s nothing new… pretty much any Tolkien fan here (Wales and the Welsh Borders) know that he took a lot of inspiration from this area…..
Although her points about language are interesting….
