This sounds really cool. I hope I remember – I tried to last year, but ended up finishing the Star Wars trilogy and forgetting. This year I’ll have just gotten back from a retreat, so I hope I’ll be able to stay awake long enough!
Ha! My grandma shares her birthday with the Professor! I have no idea how I’m going to celebrate. Probably not do anything. *sniff sniff*
I will do it! I have never done anything like it before… I have celebrated his birthday before, but never toasted him. It will be a great experience! Count me in!
I and one of my friends, a fellow Tolkien enthusiast, are planning to bake lembas bread and either attempt making Mirovur or open up a bottle of sparkling grape juice. My brother’s birthday is the same day, and I envy him that more than anything else. I’ve offered to trade birthdays, but he’s not interested. : )
Oh, that sounds like lots of fun! I’ll have to do that in secret, though. Even when I bring down a piece of Tolkien literature, my whole family rolls their eyes. :'( It makes me sad. So I’ll probably come here 😀
I’m excited about it so I guess I’ll bring crispy bacon and some tomatoes in a nice hobbit stew!! 😉
The 3rd is the last day of Winter Break for me, so I’ll probably be getting ready for school the next day. However, I’m going to get on CoE’s chat at night. =]
