In a story on SciFi Wire.com, Peter Jackson has reportedly cleared up one matter on the subject of the Hobbit movies: What will the second one be about?

“The second Hobbit script is still based on the Hobbit novel,” Jackson said in a group interview Sunday in Beverly Hills, Calif., after a press conference for The Lovely Bones. “The Hobbit novel is in two parts.”

In an article on IGN Movies, producer of the upcoming Hobbit movies, Peter Jackson, has said that he “is predicting production of The Hobbit films will start in the middle of next summer, a few months later than expected.”
