This is indeed sad, but I cannot say that I blame him. Must be terrible to have to wait so long and see it being postponed more than once. But yes, hopefully this will mean Jackson has time to do the directing.
I’m sure Del Toro would have done a good job, but that’s sadly out of the question now. If they do get greenlighted, though, maybe PJ will be able to direct the films.
It is sad that he is leaving. But with all of the delays I don’t exactly blame him. Does this mean PJ is the director now???
This is really sad! I think he would’ve done a great job! Who’s gonna be the director now?
I understand why he’s leaving but I am really sad. I was so looking forward to seeing his work come to life in the Hobbit.
Wow, that’s shocking. I wonder who is going to direct the movie now?
This is why I don’t get my hopes up. Like everyone else, I understand his reasons. Hopefully, everything will be resolved soon. Not getting my hopes up, though.
I was really looking forward to seeing his interpretation of Mirkwood and the goblins especially. Looking at his work on ‘Pan’s Labyrinth’, they would have been amazing. But I understand why he’s had to…abdicate.
