Viggo Unhappy with PJ’s use of CGI

I respectively disagree about The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. In my personal opinion, it was executed perfectly. Especially The Return of the King. It wouldn’t have been nominated for 11 Academy Awards and taken home every single one if it wasn’t. Sure there was stuff left out we would’ve liked to see come to the screen (insert Tom Bombadil here), but it’s not always logical.
However, I desperately (underline that three times, please!) agree with his point when it comes to The Hobbit. Everything is CGI, and you can definitely tell. One of the things that made the LotR films so special was it felt and looked real. That’s where the magic was. Miniatures and artwork. Not everything relying on our good old friend, the green screen.
