Baragund was one of the First House of the Edain, the younger brother of Belegund and the son of Bregolas. He was the father of Morwen.

He lived in Dorthonion until the Dagor Bragollach, when he held out with Barahir's outlaw band. When the outlaws were betrayed by Gorlim, both Baragund and his brother Belegund were slain.
