The Elven-Smiths, otherwise known as the Gwaith-i-Mirdain, were a group of Noldorin Elves that lived in Eregion, to the west of the Misty Mountains, during the Second Age. They were headed by Celebrimbor, and were the elves that forged the Rings of Power.
