Îbal was a young boy who lived in Emerië on the island of Númenor, near the White House of Erendis and was known to Tar-Ancalimë while she lived there as a young girl.

Îbal was the son of a man named Ulbar, who served the great sea Captain who would later become Tar-Aldarion on his ships.

Îbal hoped one day to sail the Great Sea like his father, but we do not know whether he was able to fulfill this dream.
