Pronunciation: laas eh mees' taa
According to the lament of
Quickbeam in the chapter "Treebeard" in Book III of The Two Towers, Lassemista was one of the rowan trees of
Fangorn forest, which were killed by
Saruman's Orcs of
Isengard. The name translated as "leaf grey".
