A fertile farmland region located on the marshy western banks of the Brandywine River, in the East Farthing of the Shire. It lay between the villages of Stock and Deephollow.

Most of the Hobbits of this region were Stoorish in ancestry, and were accustomed to wearing heavy boots in wet weather.
