A peak in the north of the Misty Mountains. In TA2747 it was a stronghold of goblins (Orcs) from which attacks were launched upon the Shire. The last of these ended with the Battle of Greenfields where their leader Golfimbul was beheaded by Bandobras Took (Bullroarer) and the Hobbits were victorious.

It is possible that Mount Gram was the Mannish name for Mount Gundabad. Gram is an Old English word for ‘trouble’ whereas Gundabad is Khuzdul in origin and would only have been called that by Dwarves.
