Also known as Pengoloth or Pengolodh.
Pengoloð was "the Sage" of Gondolin (as introduced in the "Annals of Aman" and the "Later Quenta Silmarillion"). He is said to have instructed Ælfwine himself, who in his turn read and translated Pengoloð’s work.
