S.A.350-751

The son of Tar-Amandil, and the fourth king of Númenor. He reigned for 150 years, and passed the scepter to his third child and only son, Tar-Meneldur in 740. He was also called Parmaitë because he set down much of the legends and lore collected by his grandfather, Vardamir. Númenorean ships first came back to Middle-earth during his reign.

His eldest child and daughter, Silmarien, was the mother of Valandil, whose later descendents were Amandil and Elendil the Tall.
