Woses (singular: wose) is the proper name for the wildmen of the Drúadan forest; the last remnant of the Drúedain.

They are a short, squat and thick branch of the race of men with short legs and fat arms. They live a rather primitive existence , wearing only clothing of grass and are said to be very good at woodcraft, and hunt with poison arrows.

During the time of The War of The Ring they were led by Ghan-buri-Ghan and aided the Rohirrim in the battle of Pelennor Fields, by leading them on the quickest path through the forest. In reward, King Elessar granted them the right to live undisturbed in the Drúadan Forest forever.
