Tengwar Sindarin lesson 5
Once more we meet two sounds that have different shapes in each of the modes.
First the ‘n’ and the ‘m’ in the mode of Gondor (for now ignore the ‘nn’ and ‘mm’ for the mode of Beleriand, we’ll meet those later):
And these sounds in the mode of Beleriand (for now ignore the ‘r’ for the mode of Gondor of órë):
Important remark: the consonant groups nt, nd, mp, mb, nc, ng and ngw are the so called nasal consonant clusters. They don’t use the tengwar from this lesson!
