Is there anyone from Finland? I think, that there´s not, but I always have to try...

I have met two Finns so far and Laerith said there are more but it seems they aren't very active. But we are here

I'm here often but I spend my time mostly in the Realm of Nienna :love:

I´m Finn like Aina said. I haven´t been active, because it´s summerholiday and i got other things to do.
Well, the school begins soon and then i will be more active than now (i have more time to be here, if i don´t do my homeworks ).
And like Aina, i spend my time in the Realm of Nienna.

Well, there are a few of us, but most seem to be here quite at random...

And, I can say from experience that, arranging a meeting is quite possible, if there is enough interest. You just need a place that is within reach for everyone, both for journey and budget, and a person or two to take care of the arrangements.

I'm a Finn too! (well, you are of the few people to whom my name makes any sense)
I spend a lot time in CoE, but mostly in the realm. Nice to know there are more of us! And it would be nice to meet you too!

Does half Finnish count? My mother is Finnish, and we go there every year in the summer. I love it there. It's so different from the Netherlands, where I live. I can't speak a lot of Finnish, just basic stuff, and writing and reading is even worse.

Cool that you can speak at least some finnish! So you have lived your whole life in Netherlands then? But it's great that your parents still want to come here too and you get to see a part of who you are :love: I hope you have had a chance to do some sightseeing around Finland

My grandmother is finnish. She was born in a little town called Raisala,
and I have millions of relatives in Finland. I've never been there - but would love to go.
I don't know any finnish either- dad knew a bit when he was little but lost it, so he couldn't teach me (damn him). If anyone is willing to teach me basic finnish, I'd love it. My e-mail addys are:

I'm going to avoid the centre of the city as much as I can - it will be a complete chaos. :dizzy: I think the TV will be on in the background though...

Yeh, the weather has been quite awful this week. I hope it'll clear up at least for next week and the weekend! i'm maybe going to watch the Opening on Saturday evening, if there are any places left.. Otherwise i maybe going watching the Keihäs Karsinta.. the finale is solled out.. oh well, i'll have a good spot beside the TV anyway, no risk getting wet!

Not that into sports And I'll see quite enough people and horrible traffic here in Jyväskylä now during the Neste Rally

Actually, I live in Espoo as well, but both I and my husband work in Helsinki, and may have other errands there too. Fortunately, I don't have to go to the centre on my way to work...
