He nodded at Anduilon. "Do they be quick. The more time that passed while we stand here, the more time the enemy has to draw away and prepare."

The Elf glanced over the waiting band behind him. "I shall take half this number with me and ride now. Arwyn, remain with the other half and follow when Anduilon and his company are ready. A single party of Elves attacking would be expected. Two are likely not." He grinned. "Well met, Anduilon. A willing warrior is never to be shunned."

To the crowd, he raised his voice. "Half of you will follow me, and the other follow Lady Arwyn. My company... let us take our leave from here!"
