It's not until you sit down to make up a list of this type that you realise just what you have accumulated over the past few years. Anyway, here's my list.

Books
LoTR (2 copies); The hobbit; Book of Lost Tales 1 and 2; The Lays of Beleriand; The SIlmarillion;
Visual Companions for TTT and RoTK; Complete Visual Companion (for all three films combined); Photo Guides for TTT and RoTK; Creatures from TTT; Weapons and Warfare; The Making of the Trilogy; Official Movie Guide;
Gollum - How we Made Magic;
The Rough Guide to LoTR;
There and Back Again, an Actor's Tale (Sean Astin autobiography);
Guide Books for filming locations by Ian Brodie - all three editions

Jigsaw Puzzles
1000 piece "limited edition" for FoTR and TTT

Coins
All coins are N.Z. currency, and issued as collectors items
Battle for the One Ring set (3 x $1 coins)
Light versus the Dark Character Collection (6 x 50c coins)
Felowship of the Ring set (9 x 50c coins)
LoTR set (18 x 50c coins - includes the 50c coins above)
Set of $1 coins - 14 have arrived so far, 10 more to go (1 a month)

Stamps
All stamps issued by N.Z. Post. for everyday postage. All those listed here are in mint condition - also have some of them (all lower values) used. One set was issued for each of the three films just prior to the movies release.
FoTR - set of 6 self-adhesive, also as gummed, also as mini-sheets, 40c sheetlet
TTT - set of 6 self-adhesive, also as gummed, also as mini-sheets
RoTK - set of 6 self-adhesive, also as gummed, also as mini-sheets
NZ as Middle Earth Full set gummed and self adhesive, also Limited Edition set (only 2,000 produced for the whole world).

DVDs etc.
All three movies in theatrical release
All three movies in Extended Edition
The Music of Middle Earth (came with RoTK EE)
JRR Tolkien, Master of the Rings (DVD and CD set)

Misc.
Minus Tirith model/jewel box (came with RoTK EE)

Am also slowly going to as many of the filming sites as possible with the camera and putting them into slideshows (with screen captures etc. for the then and now 'effect'). So far have done Hobbiton, Rangateiki Gorge (part of River Anduin), Mt Victoria in Wellington (numerous places in the films), Rivendell, Hutt River (Anduin River), the two locations in Wellington used as Dunharrow, Canaan (a bit over an hours drive from where I live - where the Hobbits talk about trusting Aragorn as they leave Bree, just before they get to the bit where they go through the snow-covered ground), Mt. Gunn (only from the main road, where the beacons are lit in RoTK), Mt. Owen (only from main road and can see it clearly on my way to work evey day - where the Fellowship leaves Moria), sites near Wanaka (views of Fellowship passing ruins), Weathertop (as seen from the road), Mavora Lakes (where Sam and Frodo leave on their own for Mordor, and other scenes leading up to it), Deer Park Heights, Queenstown (several sections in the films). Some of these will be re-visited for more/better photos over the next couple of years along with the rest of the filming locations.

Let's see... I don't have very much!

Books (most of these are not exactly *mine*, they're the family's, but who cares):

The Lord of the Rings, illustrated by Alan Lee
The Hobbit, illustrated by Alan Lee
The Hobbit, paperback
The Lord of the Rings, paperback and held together by tape and paper clips
The Silmarillion
Unfinished Tales
Almost the entire HoME series (Morgoth's Ring and The Lays of Beleriand are really *mine*)
The Rough guide to the Lord of the Rings
The Lord of the Rings in Dutch, paperback which is falling apart
The Lord of the Rings in Dutch, a nice edition which isn't falling apart *woohoo*
The Hobbit in Dutch
The Silmarillion in Dutch
Unfinished Tales in Dutch
The Letters of Tolkien in Dutch
Tolkien biography by Humphrey Carpenter, in Dutch
The Journeys of Frodo (some sort of atlas - really cool)

All the Dutch books are my dad's. I prefer the English ones

CDs and DVDs (the DVDs belong to the entire family, the CDs are mine):

FotR normal version
FotR EE
TTT EE
RotK EE
FotR soundtrack
TTT soundtrack
RotK soundtrack

Other things:

Large map of Middle-earth:love:
Silver One Ring
One Ring bookmark
Hobbiton movie set T-shirt and pen

And some things I made myself. Do they count?

Idril Celebrindal's heraldic device; painted on silk and on some transparent thing (it looks a little like stained glass:love: )
Glass candle holders with the Ring inscription on them
My tack board with the Rohan flag painted on it (okay, so it's not finished yet. I've run out of white paint)
Some other furniture on which I've painted LotR stuff

And I will (hopefully) soon be adding Sting to my collection

I have about 3/4 of all of Tolkien's books.

All 3 extended edition DVD's and their corresponding statues and extra DVD's they came with.

I have Enyas song and Annie Lennox song on my iPod.

I have the LOTR Trivial Pursuit...I reign in my family. My nephew loves to play this with me. He bought me the card/marble game too. I have not played it because it was missing the red marbles.

I have the UC Anduril, and my Noble Glamdring is on its way.

I want Hadafang too...then I should be done. A map would be nice as well.

Well, i never managed to build a list, yet i do have every UK and US impression of every single Tolkien book up to 1966 and most of it of all later impressions. Then I have a complete shelf full of books about Tolkien, almost every Dutch impression of the Dutch translations of books, many Advance Reading Copies, and much more Tolkien books, magazines, fanzines, calendars,...

Well I think it must be over 3000 Tolkien books only, so that is a nice collection!

There are a small number of reference books and several pieces of jewellery my wife has. I love the maps and I have several of them from all the ages of M.E. Most are larger. Several puzzles some movie poster size and a number of posters. I’m not sure how many I have but it’s not likely more than a dozen. I have 200 Two Towers Bookmark sets poster board and about 700 Trading Cards and extra bookmarks to sell one day.

Most of this is packed away and there are other items like The Shards of Narsil display a couple of Gollum one that talks. The models that came with the movies and other smaller items stored away. This collection has been years in the making and you can see the reason why it has to be catalogued. I worked a second part time job and that’s the money I used to collect. I am still collecting more items and the next larger pieces will be the 3 sword I don’t have. I have some clothing and I'll be working on collecting more once I have the swords. I have narrowed down the field of what I will continue to collect to a few pieces because there are tens of thousands of item you could buy. I do have items on display like the swords, helmets, flags, maps, books, special edition collectors models and chess models and a few other items. These are kept in the room where I work on my computer off of the den/TV room and we call it the Ring Room. My collection is private and only a few friends have seen what’s on display in the Ring Room.

Some more interesting and fairly unique items from me:
A Return of the King Sticker book in German fron Kinder-Riegel candy.
A Two Towers promo pin from Fandango
A paper sack with the Return of the King teaser poster printed on it
A Pippin bobble-head
A large wooden chest that someone painted green and pasted Lord of the Rings pictures on. Pretty sure nobody else has something like that.

Some more stuff I haven't listed...

Legolas' Fighting knives from United Cutlery. The only weapon replica I have.
Three Minas Tirith jewelry boxes
Pillars of Argonath bookends
Three Return of the King pringles cans and a Two Towers cookie Box.

Three Fellowship of the Ring drinking cups (the kind you get at the theaters)
You know the posters they hang in the theater advertising the movies? I have the Return of the King one. It's in its original shipping tube addressed to our local theater, never used.
I don't think this is something any online store sells. So maybe one of a kind?

Return of the King and The Hobbit booklets and records.
4 FotR glass goblets with their boxes.
And tons and tons of other odds and ends like bobble heads, pins, stickers, and a lot of bookmarks.

I have no idea how many action figures I have. I've got a ton of small orcs and easterling/gondorian soldiers. I've got the coronation pack and others and have at least three that are still in the box (I like to play with mine).
