How many of y'all are out there? I myself am a fanfiction writer, have many followers on fanfiction.net for my LOTR fanfiction, but I was wondering how many of y'all are here? How many are almost career fanfiction writers?I know I am! What kind of writing style do you have? like, mine is dark, mysterious :coughcough: and always has a happy ending! But the main character, :legolas: usually ends up going through dispair in the meanwhile.

I haven't been writing for a while, but I pretty much only write oneshots because I can't focus on long stories and usually leave them hanging. I used to write crack, now I write general stuff. I'm trying to branch into angst/horror but that's kind of hard because I don't like reading horror.

I'm very proud of my Melkor/Feanor lust fic though. *shottodeath*

We are here! We are here! We are here! My sister and I only write about the Hobbits (the other guys are in there quite a bit, but the stories are mainly about the Hobbits).

I bet it's a good story based on the subject matter and characters!

Hi Lady of Darkness, good to see a Tolkien fanfic author who is still prolific.
It's been years since I last visited ff net, but I have fond memories of it, and Stories of Arda where I still drop in once a year or so.

I hardly use that account anymore (which is why I changed my username back to my original one), I'm mostly on Ao3 (Archive of Our Own) and Wattpad. You'll find the link to Ao3 in the post of the deleted account (it was a duplicate) above and the one to Wattpad in the Prancing Pony section in the Writers thread.

On Ao3, you'll find a drabble (sort of like a one shot) that I wrote as a Secret Santa for someone on another Tolkien site (check the summary for more information).

I was sad to see 'Many Paths To Tread' Tolkien FanFiction site didn't renew their comain and all those stories are now gone. I still have my AO3 and a FFN account, but haven't updated anything on either one for a long while.
