Post How do I delete my account?

I love this site, and I really want to have an account, but I accidentally registered with a name I do not want, and I cannot change it, so I've been trying to find how to delete my account, in order to make another one and I can't. Can anyone help me please?

Hello Tinnuviel. I think you can ask to have your username changed.

In order to change your name or delete your account, please PM our accounts admin, gwendeth. Here's a quote from our FAQ:

"User name changes are generally only done if there is a valid reason to keep the present account. If you signed up with your real name and then feel uncomfortable having everyone know it or your user name contains special symbols such as * (which can cause complications with forums and chat), being bored of your old name is not a valid reason to have it changed. Please contact gwendeth, the accounts admin and explain why you want a name change. If you feel your reason is not valid but still do not want to keep your present name you can have your old account deleted and resign up again. Please be sure to contact gwendeth before signing up a new account as your old one will need to be deleted and having two accounts is against site rules."
