How would the word "elemental" be translated?

As in, "The Earth Elemental is huge."

Can't find any suitable synonym, except maybe "everlasting" - "oia", but that just doesn't seem to fit.

Would "basic" be appropriate?
You could form this from sundo "base, root": sundëa "basic".
