Post SinDarin translation please
on: November 25, 2014 05:24
I am trying to find a sindarin translation for 'lady of the moon' and its elvish script depiction as I have ordered a longbow whos veneers when drawn will show a crescent moon and I hope to have her named on the bow itself. If you have time for my arrows 'by her light fly true'with the same. I would be so grateful when target shooting in the beauty of the woods to have this blessing on both. Thank you. Blessed be

I can't do the Tengwar (Elvish script) for you, but here's the translation:

Brennil en-Ithil = Lady of the Moon
or
Hiril en-Ithil = Lady of the Moon

Adh i galad dîn adlego [tîr/taer] = By her light release straight

tîr = straight, right (as in 'correct')
taer = straight

Thank you so very very much

Can you suggest a resource/person that could help me discover the Elvish Script? Also what does the text within the square brackets mean?

The text in the brackets is a choice between the two words, whether you want it to be 'straight' or 'straight with the connotation of correctness'.

If you ask Isildilme who runs this thread, she will be able to give you the Tengwar:
