Since I have no idea what Popa Chubby sounds like, I'll take Jethro Tull.

Would you rather dance the polka, or the tango?

Tango, I like latin dances.

Would you rather stay up while everyone sleeps or get up before anyone gets up?

I don't think the Avengers you're talking about is the one I'm familiar with, but I will still go with Avengers. LOL

Would you rather meet Captain America, or Captain Marvel?

Actually, neither of these guys; Captain Nemo seems to be more interesting to me.

Would you rather watch Road Runner cartoons or The Flash TV series?

Would rather watch Garfield, or Daffy Duck?

Daffy!!! (So often, in my experience, cartoons droop several levels in quality compared to the comic books, and Garfield unfortunately makes no exception)

Would you rather watch cartoons starring Daffy Duck, or Donald Duck?

Oh, definitely Daffy. He's a great favourite of mine.

Would you rather watch Tweety and Sylvester, or Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd?

"What's up, doc?"

In a race between Road Runner and Speedy Gonzales (they actually did a cartoon of this!*), whom would you root for?

(!!!*Wikipedia: "The Wild Chase is a Warner Bros. Merrie Melodies short ... featuring Speedy Gonzales and Sylvester, with Wile E. Coyote and The Road Runner along for the race." Arriba! - Beep-Beep!)

Hmmm. Given my body's weakness following my recovery from hernia surgery and the very long time I went without being able to lift anything, I'm afraid I'm quite weak right now, so rock climbing is quite out of the question. How about them birds y'all?

Would you rather be strong like Hulk or fast like Flash?

Since I haven't been able to get the top off a cola bottle, much to my frustration, I will choose the Hulk-like strength.

Gordon Lightfoot .... I love his early stuff and actually have met him, and been to numerous concerts.

Humphrey Bogart. Even though "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" is definitely a classic of classics.

Did a quick Wikipedia check. Galadriel (maybe unfairly, but it's my personal opinion) makes C trump K severely.

Not a fan of Jim Carrey, or his films, so it's Tom Hanks for me.

erp ... you didn't make a choice, Gando.

Buster Keston, although Harold Lloyd is my all time favourite silent movie comedian.

What the ...?!? Karloff! And I blabbed more than a bit about why ...

Abbott and Costello. Their "Who's on first?" sketch is just (for a baseball nut like myself) untoppable!

Would you rather read the JRRT books in sequence (Sil, TH, LoTR), or the Harry Potter books in sequence?

Neither. I've not read any of the HP books, sequentially, or otherwise; and reading Tolkien sequentially would mean I would have to read The Hobbit far too soon after my last reading of it . (I like to maintain a once every two decades policy on TH.)

Would you rather watch one of Verdi's operas, or one of Wagner's?

I'm guessing you mean being present in a opera house for a live performance. Though only watching (think silent movies) an opera might have its own oddball charm. As for listening to an LP or a CD - I have this vague feeling that no matter what language is supposed to be sung (so theoretically I should be able to understand Wagner), the technical aspects of the presentation - coloratura et al, deserving the highest respect in themselves - make it close to irrelevant what language is nominally being sung - few people can understand it anyway.

Would you rather listen to a "best of" Beatles CD, or a "best of" Rolling Stones CD?

I'm a Rolling Stones girl from way back. I didn't even buy a Beatles' album until I was in my 30's.

Would you rather listen to 60's rock, or 70's rock?

Totally impossible for me to choose, as most of my favorites were active in both decades (and many in later decades too). A very slight nod might go to the 60's, as Cream and The Beatles split, and of course Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison died by 1971.

Would you rather go to a Leo Kottke concert, or a John McLaughlin concert?

I'm currently totally blank on what's showing at the cinema, so I'll guess TV show (though interesting stuff is rare).

Would you rather attend an opera performance or a musical (like My Fair Lady, Cats, ...) performance?

mmm ..... X-men because the Batman portrayals are sometimes good (Christian Bale), and sometimes bad (George Clooney)

Spontaneously, eating anything every day for seven days straight is pretty certain to elicit a "not again!" response from me way before the seventh day (and I have hereby outed myself as a spoiled "first-world" brat). I am assuming you mean the same recipe, as you mentioned roast beef; chicken is unspecific enough to cover myriads of recipes ...

Would you rather have rice or spaghetti with your meals?

I didn't specify so it could have been permutations of the original dish.

I love both rice and pasta, but I'm not fond of spaghetti, so I'll go with the rice.

Would you rather have coffee or tea in the morning?

I actually don't eat breakfast *gasp* but I prefer something hot when I do, although not usually fried.

Would you rather eat your largest meal at noon/1pm or in the evening?

Since we have two canteens / cafeterias (adjacent to each other) serving several (mostly) palatable lunches each day in our company, my warm meal (and mostly the largest-at-one-sitting) is the midday one.

Would you rather eat boiled food, or fried / grilled / baked food?
