Mahjongg (have some variations of the game on my silicon subjects).

Would you rather be a world-class athlete in an obscure North American sport like Baseball (say Babe Ruth, ... I am ignorant of any players of about the last ten years) or a world-class athlete in a sport like (association) football with world-wide (except for North America, where it is "known" as "soccer" ) recognition like Lionel Messi or Christiano Ronaldo?

You didn't mention Nascar racing which is a true sport whereas everything else is just a game.

I've done both ....... and I enjoyed singing in a group more as there are more creative opportunities, so I will go with singing in a group.

Would rather spend an eternity with a person nor of your choosing, or by yourself?

Well, as much as I enjoy my own company, I guess I will take eternity with a person not of my choosing rather than being alone for eternity.

Long-distance bus travel has only become possible in Germany recently. Within Germany, mind you. So I have no experience with what in Germany would pass for "Greyhound". Not very much experience with train travel, either. Own-car travel is massively the preferred mode.
My guess would be train ...

Wow, I saw Fellowship before I read it and was surprised at the big difference. With Potter, I read the books before I saw the movies and again was surprised. I will watch the movie and then read the book.

Cake, the "Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte" is my absolutely favorite dessert. And with our current heat wave, you drink most of an ice cream, anyway.
