Unfortunately, the delay with Legolas and Boromir's shoes had caused everyone to forget about Aragorn.

Fortunately, Aragorn had found the necessary plants to heal himself along the way he had taken, and was thus able to return to his quibbling and niggling compatriots in time to get them to concentrate of the task to be done.

Fortunately, they were eventually able to reach a consensus and continued on their journey, with Elladan and Elrohir in tow.

Unfortunately, Elladan and Elrohir weren't particularly happy to be in the company as it was interfering with their Orc hunting.

"Fortunately", the need to search for Orcs quickly "disappeared", as some Orcs appeared.

Fortunately, those first Orcs had only been the scouting party, so the main host of Orcs soon appeared, giving the twins ample opportunity to wreak havoc.

Unfortunately, the hobbits each received some injuries of varying severity when they joined the fray.

Fortunately, Aragorn still had plenty of the plants with which he had healed himself earlier, so the Hobbits were returned to good health in no time.

Unfortunately this made Merry very hungry (even for Hobbit standards) but there was no food to eat

Fortunately, the Last Homely House was able to provide both first and second breakfasts.

Unfortunately, the companions were so hungry that by the end of second breakfast, they had eaten the Last Homely House out of house and home.

Fortunately, Beorn’s huge bees were easily able to increase their production of honey so that everyone ended up feeling contentedly full.

Unfortunately it turned out Merry was allergic to bees and one stung him as he tucked into the honey.

Fortunately, Aragorn was already aware of Merry's allergies, and he and Elrond were able to prevent the allergic reaction from occurring.

Unfortunately, it turned out that Beorn’s bees were also allergic to Merry, which caused a serious drop in honey production and Beorn’s cheerfulness.

Unfortunately he knocked over one of the bee hives, destroying one of their homes, which angered the bees.

Unfortunately some renegade (and rather decrepit) Orcs showed up at Rhosgobel and made a nuisance of themselves by clamoring for some “special mushrooms”.

Unfortunately, Bilbo and Frodo got into an argument about who was to use Sting against the spiders, rendering their contribution to the current pest control efforts to nil.
