Unfortunately Bilbo had gotten so angry during his argument with Frodo that he threatened to disinherit Frodo.

Fortunately for Frodo, he realised in the nick of time that if he disinherited Frodo, the loathsome Sackville-Baggins clan would become his official heirs.
