Post Translation question - Into the West

I am trying to figure out which of these two translations is more accurate for the phrase "the ships have come to carry you home" from the song Into the West

Would really appreciate some input on which one is more accurate and why?

Is that version not the literal translation so as to make it more fitting to the music?
I only ask because the phrase "Ciryar utúlier an yulu le márelya" doesn't have "I" for "the" at the beginning

Looks like I need to do lots more study

Yes, there are choices made in the text that are there for the meter.
E.g. the verb yulu- is a bit old fashioned, normally one would use col-, also it would have to be yulien le marenna.

Very interesting, Dirk_math! I love the song and it is great to see a well sung version in Quenya.
