Yes, my family has a lemon tree in the garden, and we previously had some tomatoes and strawberries.

TNP has recently read a novel.

No, novels are way back in my list of to-reads (and that my copy of "The Fall of Gondolin" that my favorite bookstore e-mailed me yesterday as having been delivered counts as a novel - I doubt it). Non-fiction documentary (two about totally different subjects) is what I'm reading right now.

TNP has spent a vacation recently where it was unexpectedly cooler than where they live.

Yes, we bought a new car at the end of last year.

I can play the guitar but I'm no virtuoso.

TNP is an excellent baker.

Rudimentary would be the more accurate adjective. My wife does our baking, and we have a bakery and cake shop in three minutes walking distance, anyway.

TNP has driven on the left side of the road in a country where this is the norm with a car designed for righ-side-of-the-road traffic. Image

Ah, nope.

TNP occasionally prefers toasted bread (of whatever sort) to the non-toasted kind.

Occasionally, yes.

TNP prefers open-faced sandwiches, to two-slices of bread sandwiches.

I like both, it depends what's on them! If it's proper Scandinavian open-faced rye-bread sandwiches, I'm a bit of a snob and have to have Danish pork slices or chicken with a dainty blob of wholegrain mustard. If it's a normal sandwich, it's ham. I'm boring. I'd normally just eat the bread on its own haha.

TNP owns more books than movies.

No contest. The books win, hands down.

TNP ones more than one set of The Hobbit films.

(As a PS to E~S's post, I own both theatrical and EE versions of both LoTR and TH - but then I have read "The Fall Of Gondolin" by now, too - hopeless, I guess! )

Nope.

TNP owns more physical music sources (LPs, CDs, DVDs etc) than physical movie sources (DVDs, Blu-Rays, ...).

Not anymore. I used to have loads but they took up a lot of space. I have more DVDs now, mainly because I love my Disney movies and Tolkien movie sets. So I can't bring myself to get rid of them.

TNP has lost at least two sets of headphones in the past.

Nope. Never went beyond cat-sitting.

TNP has been to a safari park, with which I mean a sort of reverse zoo, meaning the critters are free to roam while one drives through the roaming ranges being inside a mobile cage (mostly the own car).

Dozens of times, especially in my vacations in the Spanish-speaking parts of Europe, which between 1975 (Catalonia) and 2011 (Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands) have totalled ten times.

TNP uses Google regularly.

Very likely not. Since an overly imaginative last-minute purchase for my wife over twenty years ago (it seemed like a good idea at the time ... Image), she selects what I give her for Christmas. And she does clothing (and some other oddments) shopping in the Sears catalog mode, involving real paper catalogs and orders by snail-mail. Of course the delivery is no different from online shopping ...

TNP, aside from foodstuffs, does more shopping on the Internet than in real-life stores.

The only one that needed repairs (aka as a completely new SW setup of the 286 compatible machine) was in the very early 1990s, via a floppy disk (yep, those actally floppy 5.25 inch thingies) that was returend to me. The four offline towers after that (486 DX 50, AMD 200 MHz, AMD dual core, Intel high end dual core), nope. The notebook since 2013, also nope, meaning no successful attack, at least.

TNP also orders things online (if they do) at "places" other than Amazon.

I am very partial to all kinds of pasta, and the types baked (al forno) in casseroles with melted cheese on top (which I thought meant al forno) of which lasagna is an example are definitely among them. But my tastes run more widely than those (apparently) of that widely loved if cantankerous comic / cartoon cat Garfield.

TNP has a favorite type of soup.
