Not particularly. I have a number of t-shirts that I like because they have pithy sayings on them, but otherwise, nothing springs to mind.

TNP - has been practicing self-isolation.

Our normal routine since my retirement was pretty close to that anyway, so there has not really been any noticeable change in our behavior.

TNP has manged to stay healthy.

No. I've been avoiding news as I'm tired of watching the same thing day in, and day out. And, frankly, if anyone sends me another article on how to avoid getting the coronavirus, I'm going to scream.

Just barely - we can now go for a drive within 50 km of our homes, and some non-essential shops for things like clothing will be opening.

TNP has recently been driving.

Yes, today, my wife bringing a letter to the post office for registered mail, myself buying a six-pack of spare batteries for my hearing aids.

TNP has had to wear nose-and-mouth masks whenever inside a store.

No. It's not mandatory. I have been taking reasonable precautions, but I've not become too uptight about it.

But some things people have become accustomed to having without giving it a second thought - it's asparagus season in Germany currently -, very much anything depending on seasonal labor from eastern Europe, could become a tad scarce. We’re at least close to some major hops-growing regions, which then could impact the beer brewers – no that’s a panic area for me! Image

Oh yeah. They have one chair that's a favourite scratching "post". It's not as if they don't have a huge cat tree.

Not really, but I do wash my hands the way I was taught to when I worked in the medical clinic. I was my hands numerous times during the day.

I've only seen one COVID-19 patient, but we have never interacted - only the ICU doctors were allowed in the room.

No, from 1990 on I basically lived close enough to the office that the longest stretch was less than 30 minutes to walk. Being a night-owl, I did take the car quite often, but then there was ample parking available. For several years in the late '90s and again from about the mid-aughts in the Frankfurt region, it was the bus, the latter with a so-called job ticket. The last stretch from '08 until retirement it was walking (well under 10 minutes).

TNP crosses a river on the way from home to the office.

Not yet - we've made the fruit mince, but we'll only be doing the actual baking a few days before Christmas.
