Ah yes, as you should know, once having used it during some obscure council.

How long did it take you to create Black Speech?

Creating it was easy. Teaching it to trolls – don’t ask!

Yes, I've noticed that their grasp of the language is somewhat spotty.

I think the current weather has helped me think of quite a few terms which might help expand the Black Speech vocabulary.

Perhaps you should spend time on expanding your own language as you cats only have one word and that's Meow

Oh dear, it really shows that you wasted your time during the First Age puttering around Irmo’s place. You should have heard what Tevildo had to say when the Big Boss decided that he didn’t really have what it takes to guard Angband, and gave that job to me. About 50% of Old Black Speech is derived from Tevildo’s outburst at me when I told him he’d gotten the boot.

Well everyone knows that you hid in Angband during the War of the Wrath only coming out once Ancalagon landed on top of you

Actually my hanging around Angband all the time was just a rumor I spread for the unlikely case that we should triumph in that fracas. I mean, as a Maia I knew what Eonwë was capable of (one of the blind spots the Big Boss was stricken with). And I know for a fact that Tulkas was ready to join the fray in case things looked bad for the Aman troops. And I mean Tulkas took down the Big Boss nothing flat in the first fracas, at Utumno. And the Big Boss had squandered so much of his native power by then – remember that annoying Elf Fingolfin giving him seven cuts, and that annoying bird Thorondor messing up his face so no amount of make-up could make it look pretty? No, no, during the WoW I was way east with the only sensible Balrog I ever met, digging our way into a hideout under the Misty Mountains. As it unfortunately turned out, we had overlooked some pesky Dwarves of Durin’s Folk who were already mining in the area – but who could have guessed that these pig-headed runts would dig so deep? I hadn’t paid enough attention to Aulë’s description of them way back when, apparently.

Don't forget that Ungoliant almost killed Morgoth perhaps she would have if his Balrogs didn't come to his rescue

Yeah, it's a pity she failed. I could have become the leader of the armies of Utumno.

Well weren't you in charge of Angband? What gave Morgoth the right to take it from you

How to explain the intricacies of hierarchies, chain-of-command and such to such a pig-headedly solitary member of the Felidae?

Which possible intelligence becomes irrelevant when paired with (actually overwhelmed by) the lack of self-control normally exhibited by a three-year-old. I mean, you know the Fëanorians? Need I say more?

Ah yes the Feanorians, some of the Maia believe that Feanor is far more worse than you, especially in the First Age. You really didn't do much in the First Age.

To tell you a dirty little secret, even the Big Boss considered Fëanor such an excessive “loose cannon” that he would have been of little use to us, had he been on our side. Fact is, he and his sons helped us more with their irrational rage in our wars against the Elves etc. than anything WE ever devised against them. And you should be aware of the concept of doing what is necessary, but not going overboard. I mean, how long into the Age of the Sun of the First Age did Fëanor survive? Exactly. While I managed to make it to the end of the Third Age, a mere 7000 years or so later …

You were mostly hiding especially after being defeated by Huan. Surely you weren't in Morgoth's good books after that. Though I suppose you did remind him that he was put to sleep by Luthien

You’re kind of stuck in the First Age, aren’t you? Lousy 600 years of the sun, and I was active for most of them until that Huan interlude. Second and Third Ages were more than 6400 years, ten times as long. And Morgoth didn’t have a book after then end of the First Age. I was tending to his business after it.

Oh dear. Your experience with Orcs is kind of limited to the termites of Moria, apparently. Saruman’s copies of what I had bred in Mordor far earlier were passable, but nothing exciting. And, give me a break, a lousy 10,000 of them? Useful to augment the reconnaissance vanguard of a serious army of mine, but no more. *derisive snort*

Never mind that I invented the Uruks and Saruman managed barely useful copies. From the Haradrim my armies have also received sun-blocking slime of sorts (nothing mortals can invent can make any Orcs more disgusting than they are anyway). And then there’s the question of smog, which I am very capable of producing, providing additional reduction of sunlight to keep the Moria termite class happy (whatever than means with them …)

Asking Gwaihir might be more helpful, since Radagast told Gwaihir to keep a lookout for you, which is why the latter was able to help you escape. And Saruman certainly has a steep learning curve ahead of him about keeping prisoners from escaping!

Speaking about prisoners escaping, rumour has it that Gollum actually escaped and was not set free.
