Why does Saruman have a book with a picture of EVERYTHING in it? Hollin Gate, the Balrog (got to be a pretty
old book to have a picture of a Balrog in it: they hadn’t been seen in ages! Literally! And is one just going
to sit and pose for you? I don’t think so!), and now Barahir!
StarOfTheDunedain, some people can draw from memory, ya know!!
not just that, but Elrond had books of lore in Rivendell as well – and we can still paint pictures of dragons,
dinosaurs and Elves. Balrogs were nothing more than a myth at that time, but Saruman was a Maia, just like
the Balrogs are – so maybe he’d seen one before, in Valinor?
that said, I like the use of books in the movie – it’s a reminder of what it’s really about 😀
i like balrogs *smiles stupdly*
Hehe… *slaps herself on the head* Gah. Thanks Figwit… I kind of needed an outlet at the time and that was
was the first thing that came up… hehe… Also: Ranwaen, that was funny! 🙂
