big door – little table and Bilbo. Interesting, though.
PJ did a very good job in bringing Tolkiens drawn vision to screen as well as the written.
I agree with the above post. He did a great job. This drawing looks really close to the movie version.

Interesting how the picture bends like the walls.
He’s a good artist, just not much scale, unless Bag End’s ceilings are supposed to be high like we have today.
I love Tolkiens artwork he does better then any artists because this is how he imaged bagend!
It makes sense for the place to be big; remember, Bag End was the hobbit equivalent of a mansion.
well, i certainly think PJ did a good job recreating the house itself; its very….cozy, despite the size.
