the look on his face just says im too tired to go on and you can tell he just wants to drop
that’s why Sam said “Don’t you let go!”
*bursts into helpless tears* Frodo!

He wants to fall so bad…not yet, Frodo
The look in his eyes! He’s apologizing to Sam for wanting to let go.
i love this sequence
it shows that though all frodo wants to end his mirsery sam makes him realize he does not really does not…
It’s so cool how Sam says “Don’t you let go” Such beautiful emotion in his voice.
It’s like he’s saying- “I’m sorry Sam, I can’t go on anymore.” *grabs Frodo and cries onto his shoulder*
I really think Frodo got the strengh to reach for Sam’s hand one last time out of love for Sam.
Sam did so much, Frodo couldn’t just drop and leave him there alone
This has to be the best part of the whole trilogy.
