“but the shire is made to endure”…life will go on, full of memories.
ending #9 🙂 good part, but I thought they should have ended it with the ship.
but this is the book ending…it ends with the exact same words…
sam understood that dispite the loss of his best friend, he had to move on with his life, and he couldnt just
sit around crying all the time, cause that gets you no where. You just have to keep movin on
“just keep swimming, swimming, swimming, what do we do?, we swim, swim, swim” sorry, couldnt resist 🙂
I love that it ends like the book.
Me too. That ship would have been a good ending, but this is so much better: PJ made a bookie very happy here
Isn’t he supposed to live in bag end? not this patheticly small poor hobbit house
Movie-wise, it would have been better to end at the ship, or even before, but I would be so so mad at PJ
if he didn’t end with “I’m back”
In a hole in the ground, there lived a Hobbit….. and he always will.
