Lord of the Rings
Lord of the Rings - quite likely the best movies and books ever. Tolkien, Peter Jackson, Philippa Boyens, and Fran Walsh are the most brilliant people who ever lived, no question there. (Although Pirates is a very clost second.)
And I guess I should talk about MC on the LOTR page. The Mellon Chronicles (that's a link by the way) is the coolest fanfiction series the the entire world. Really. If you're not into fanfiction, read these ones and then you will be. Cassia and Siobhan (the authors) are brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! I could rave all day about how cool they are, but I won't. I'll just tell you it's a torture/angst/action and adventure series about Aragorn and Legolas being really good friends before the War of the Ring. And yes, it is torture so you've been warned. Somewhat sick that I enjoy that, I know, but it's cool all the same. I mean, come on people, Cassia makes TRAILERS for her stories! TRAILERS! How much cooler can it get?
