Info on Pippin

Merry and Pippin are two hobbit friends of Frodo how set out to help Frodo get to Rivendell. Soon they became part of the Fellowship and traveled with the nine. They went through the Mines of Moria, Lothlorien, and sailed down the Anduin with the Fellowship but were captured by Uruk Hi's at Amon Hen.

Separated from the Fellowship, Merry and Pippin have to escape from the Uruk Hi because they are in grave danger. The enemy believes they have the ring. Merry and Pippin escape in a battle the Uruk's have with the Rohirrim and flea into Fangorn Forest where they met Treebeard. They convince the Ents to attack Saruman's tower and soon have him stuck in his tower with Grima.

Soon they met up with Aragorn and his companions and soon have to separate at Rohan. Merry stays and pledges his service to King Theoden while Pippin goes with Gandalf to Minis Tirith where he pledges his service to Denethor.

Merry goes and fights on the Pelennor Feilds and helps kill the Witch King. Pippin finds Merry severely wounded on the feilds and soon both go and fight at the Black Gate. Both survive and go back to the Shire with Frodo and Sam. They stay friends for ever and soon leave the Shire one last time to die at Minish Tirith. Through all of the adventures and loses, Merry and Pippin stay best friends throughout their lives.
