Story: Aredhel was born in Valinor but went with the host of Noldor who left Aman. She dwelt in Gondolin for a while until she grew restless and left. On her journey she met Eol and married him. She bore him a son, Maeglin. Eventually she grew restless for Gondolin, so she left Eol and took Maeglin with her. Eol followed them and threw a poisoned spear at Maeglin, but Aredhel jumped in its' path and was killed.

Story: Arwen gave up her immortality to be with the human Aragorn. Theirs was the third marriage between and elf and a human. She gave her passage to Valinor to Frodo. She was the Evenstar of her people. When Aragorn died she went to Cerin Amroth where the lovers first pledged their troth and died there that winter.

Story: Beleg was good friends with the human Turin. He participated in the hunt for Carcharoth. When Turin was captured Beleg went to rescue him. As Beleg leaned over Turin in the dark, Turin stabbed Beleg with his own sword and killed him. Only after a lightning flash did Turin realize that he had killed his best friend.

Appearance and Attributes: Long silver hair, tall, wise, noble
Story: Celeborn fell in love with Galadriel in Doriath and went to live in Lothlorien. He became the lord of the golden wood and offered counsel and safety for the Fellowship of the Ring. After the War of the Rings he went to Imladris when Galadriel went over the sea. It is not known if he later went as well.

Story: Cirdan was the oldest elf to have lived in Middle Earth. He bore the ring Narya before he gave it to Gandalf. He participated in the War of the Rings and built the ships that took the elves over the sea.

Story: After the death of Thingol, Dior rebuilt Doriath and became its king. When Luthien and Beren died he was sent the Nauglamir. The sons of Feanor attacked Doriath in order to get the Silmaril and Dior was killed

Story: Elrond was the Lord of Rivendell. In the War of the Rings he was the Herald of Gil-Galad. After the Last Alliance he built the Last Homely House of Imladris. He bore the ring Vilya and adopted the young Aragorn. After Arwen was married to Aragorn, Elrond finally went over the sea.

Story: Earendil was very young when Gondolin was destroyed. He and his family fled to the Mouth of Sirion where he met Elwing and her people. After Tuor and Idril sailed away he married Elwing. When the sons of Feanor invaded Sirion, Elwing came to Earendil and gave him the silmaril. This he wore upon his brow. He petitioned the Valar to help the elves of Middle Earth defeat Morgoth. After Morgoth was destroyed, Earendil was made into a star.

Appearance and Attributes: fair, loyal, and beautiful. She could speak to sea birds.
Story: When the sons of Feanor attacked Doriath, Elwing fled with the silmaril to the Mouth of Sirion. There she met and fell in love with Earendil. When the sons of Feanor invaded Sirion she cast herself into the sea with the silmaril. Ulmo turned her into a swan and she reached the safety of Vingilot, Earendil's ship. She made the choice to be counted among the elves, as she was born half-elven. Whenever Earendil and his ship drew near to her she turned herself into a bird and flew out to meet him.

Story: Feanor created the Silmarils and the Tengwar script. When Morgoth stole the silmarils and killed Finwe, Feanor pursued him. He led the rebellion of the Noldor and commited the first kin slaying when he stole Telerin boats. He made his sons pledge the oath to never let anyone hold the silmarils unless they were the sons of Feanor. He was eventually killed in Middle Earth when he was ambushed by balrogs.

Story: Fingolfin joined his half brother Feanor on the journey to ME. After Feanor died he became High King of the Noldor. During Dagor Bragollach he rode to Angband and challenged Morgoth to single combat. Although he wounded Morgoth, he was in turn slain.

Story: Fingon participated in the rebellion of the Noldor. When his cousin Maedhros was captured, he and Thorondor the eagle freed him. Fingon was slain at the Nirnaeth Arnoediad.

Appearance and Attributes: Fair, loyal, kind, powerful, wise, and just.
Story: Finrod and his siblings left Valinor with the rebelling Noldor. Once there, Finrod made strong ties between himself and men. He gave Barahir his famous ring when Barahir rescued him. He and other elves of Nargothrond went with Beren to help him on his quest for the silmarils. They were captured by Sauron and he and Finrod had a duel of songs. Sauron was ultimatly stronger than Finrod and he and Beren were put into a dungeon, where Finrod later perished.

Story: Finarfin joined his brothers on their journey to Middle Earth, but abandoned his journey when the kin slaying at Alqualonde occured. He came back to Valinor and ruled the remaining Noldor with the Valar's permission.

Story: Galadriel and her brothers went to Middle Earth along with most of the Noldor. She went to live in Doriath, where she met and fell in love with Celeborn. They went to Lothlorien and became its rulers. She bore the ring Nenya and had a mirror that showed her the past, present, and future. She is best known for giving asylum, gifts, and counsel to the Fellowship of the Ring. She refused to take the one ring, which allowed her passage to Valinor by the Valar after the War of the Ring.

Status: High King of the Noldor, Lord of Lindon

Story: After his father Fingon died, Gil-Galad became the High King of the Noldor. He and Elendil made the Last Alliance ofelves and men in order to defeat Sauron. His herald was Elrond, and it was he who originally bore Vilya. He was killed on the slopes of Mount Doom.

Story: Idril followed her father and other Noldor across Helcaraxe. She lived with her father in Gondolin. When Tuor came to Gondolin she fell in love with him and they were married. Soon afterwards Earendil was born. She foresaw the treachery of Maeglin and had Tuor build a tunnel so her people could escape from the destruction of Gondolin. After the fall of Gondolin she and Tuor set sail for Valinor.

Status: Prince of Mirkwood, Member of the Fellowship of the Ring

Appearance and Attributes: Loyal, brave, fair
Story: Legolas was present at the Council of Elrond and told of the escape of Gollum. When he volunteered for the Fellowship and the quest, he followed Aragorn through most of his endeavers. He fought at Helm's Deep and Pellenor Fields. After the ring was destroyed, he led a host of elves to Ithilien. When Aragorn died, he and his dwarf friend Gimli sailed to Valinor.
