If you want to find out more about Aragorn and Legolas, then look no further! I haven't got much at the moment, but I'm finding more out every day, so I should have more up soon!

Aragorn was born on 1 March 2931 of the Third Age. He grew up with the Elves in Rivendell from when he was two after his father, Arathorn, was killed by Orcs. Lord Elrond brought him up, calling him Estel, which means Hope in Elvish.
When he was twenty, he met and fell in love with Arwen. Elrond would not allow marriage to any Man less than the King of Gondor, which Aragorn was destined to become.
He chose exile instead and joined the Rangers of the North. He lived in the Wild until he was eighty seven, though he still looked young because of his Dunadain blood.
Aragorn met the Hobbits in Bree and began to lead them to Rivendell. At Weathertop however, the Halflings were attaked by the evil Ringwraiths, servants of the Dark Lord; Sauron. Aragorn bravely saved Frodo from being killed completely, jumping in and battling them. After the Council of Elrond, he joined the Fellowship, offering his srowd in service to the Ringbearer.
After Gandalf fell into shadow in Moria, he lead the Fellowship until they reached the Falls of Rauros, where, after the Uruk-Hai attack, he went with Legolas and Gimli to rescue Merry and Pippin.
After meeting a reborn Gandalf the White, he rode to Edoras with the Wizard and his companions. After Gandalf freed King Theoden from Saruman's spell, Aragorn went with those of Rohan to fight in the Battle of Helm's Deep.

Not a lot is known about Legolas' life before the events of the War of the Ring. We do know that he is the immortal Prince of Mirkwood, son of the Elven King,Thranduil. His name means 'Green Leaves' in Sindarin, leading people to call him Legolas Greenleaf.
No-one is really sure just how old he is, (there are different theorys) but it's thought he was 2,931 years old during the War of the Ring.
He was sent to the Council of Elrond to tell them about the escape of Gollum from Mirkwood. The Elves had been asked to keep him prisoner, but a vicious attack by Orcs distracted them, in which the scrawny creature snuck away into the darkness of the forest. There however, he volunteered to join the Fellowship and aid Frodo in his quest.
After the breaking of the Fellowship, he followed Aragorn and Gimli across the lands until they reched Rohan. There they met up with Eomer, who informed them that the Riders had slaughtered the Uruk-Hai during the night.
Discovering at the battle site that Merry and Pippin had escaped, the three headed into Fangorn Forest. After meeting up with Gandalf and going to Edoras, Legolas then went on to fight in the Battle of Helm's Deep. | |
