Our most resent ill-fated meeting quickly deteriorated when our leaders, Lord Celeborn and King Thranduil, started fighting each other. To keep ourselves amused, Lindir and I played checkers, while Glorfindel and Elladan attempted a game of tiddlywinks. As usual, Erestor played solitaire.

Unfortunately, Elladan knows nothing about tiddlywinks, thus making it easy for Lord Glorfindel to confuse and outwit him. And Lindir knows nothing of checkers, which made it very easy for me to cheat.
