Teleri/Sindar- The most diverse group of Elves; Half their number stayed in Middle-Earth during the great march, forming two groups. They kept Morgoth at bay for years before the Silmarillion took place, and are often considered the unsung Heroes. The Sindar and Teleri are known for their Silver hair, beautiful voices, war with Morgoth, and lovely Princess.

Avari- Not much is known of these woodland folk. They loved Middle-earth so much they refused to leave, and preferred woods, running streams, and wide meadows to the cities and castles of other Elves. They are most known for being the first Elves to quit the Great Journey, and none ever saw the light of the two trees.

Sadly, there are not any recorded Avari Elves.

Vanyar- The Valar’s chosen Elves, and the only ones to have no kin in Middle-Earth, these Elves are the epitome of purity and beauty. They lived at the foot of Taniquetil, Manwë and Varda’s home, and loved singing, the stars, and above all the gods.
