The Treat Much Right Campaign

Treat Much Right!

The Treat Much Right Campaign is an unofficial online community based on the BBC show Robin Hood (see disclaimer at the bottom of the page). Read on for more information.

The TMR Mission Statement

Despite being an ardent fan of the BBC series Robin Hood, I have been consistently appalled by one factor: Robin's (mis)treatment of his loyal manservant Much.

Like me, you may have noticed Robin's constant put-downs, his abuse of their friendship, his cruelty and thoughtlessness. Even the in the series two finale, when Robin finally took the opportunity to apologise, he failed to make up for all the anguish he has caused his poor friend. If you feel that Much is being mistreated, then join the campaign to Treat Much Right!

Supporting the Campaign

In order to support the campaign, there are several things you can do. The most important thing is to feel sorry for Much and to do what you can to make Robin treat him better!

If you have a website or other online space, then you might like to display the banner below. You can also find avatars and other banners on my Photobucket (help yourself!). You might also want to make your own.

If you are on Livejournal, then you can join the Livejournal branch of the Treat Much Right Campaign - we have a thriving community there, and we sometimes hold ficathons and other competitions. You can find the community here (and click on the link to the profile page to join up and read the community's rules).

If you are on Facebook, then you can join the Facebook branch of the Treat Much Right Campaign - this was set up quite recently, but is beginning to thrive. You can find and join the community here.

There are lots of other things you can do to support the Treat Much Right Campaign. My own angst over Much also often finds an outlet in little ficlets that I write - visit the Fiction page of this site to read some. You might even want to make T-shirts, or computer wallpapers, or videos, or stage a play if you can find enough people willing to participate. Be a creative as you can. Any chance you get, complain vocally about Robin's treatment of Much - we won't put up with it any longer! I only ask that you do not attempt to link any commercial activities to the Treat Much Right Campaign - we could not condone something like making T-shirts to sell. In the spirit of the campaign, I hope that everyone who gets involved in it will be kind and generous to their fellow campaigners and concentrate on giving Much some love.

All together now: Treat Much Right!

Disclaimer: I have nothing to do with the BBC or any companies, actors, writers or other parties involved in the making of Robin Hood. The Treat Much Right Campaign is entirely unofficial. Also please note that this is in no way a commercial enterprise - it is entirely for fun.
