Faramir (T.A. 2983 - F.A. 83) was the younger son of Denethor, the last Ruling Steward of Gondor, and Finduilas of Dol Amroth, and the brother of Boromir, who was in the Fellowship of the Ring. After the War of the Ring he became the steward to King Elessar and the Prince of Ithilien. He married Eowyn (T.A. 2995 - ?), daughter of Théodwyn and Éomund, and sister of Eomer, 18th king of Rohan.
