DramaHere are some Drama movies that I enjoy. Ladder 49 Starring: Joaquin Pheonix, John Travolta Official Site: Ladder49.movies.go.com/main Ladder 49 is a thought-provoking story of how a group of fire fighters save the lives of every day people, like ourselves. Jack Morrison (Joaquin Pheonix) is trapped inside a flaming building, while waiting to be rescued by his buddies he remembers past events of his life. All of the people, I have know recommended this movie. Ever since the previews started on the T.V. everyone in my family couldn't wait for it to come to the theatres. My friend and I went to this movie and found it was fantastic. Ladder 49 is an emotional ride you will want to take. Through laughter, sadness, gripping scenes and all. Ladder 49 is a must view. Lord of the Rings The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of the King Director: Peter Jackson Starring: Viggo Mortensen, Liv Tyler, Ian Mckellen, Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Orlando Bloom, Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan A hobbit , Frodo Baggins, inherites the one ring and is set on a quest to destroy it. With his companions, they call the fellowship. Together they will set out on a quest to destroy the one ring and the evil that comes along with it. Inspirational, Exciting, Sad, Magnigicant. All round job well done. Lord of the Rings has captured everyone in the world of Middle Earth. Peter Jackson, Howard Shore and all of the cast and crew of Lord of the Rings have done a wonderful job in portraying J.R.R Tolkien's book. That has inspired children and adult alike. This is a movie you will not want to miss out on! Lord of the Rings the magnificent trilogy that will go down in history. The Lord of the Rings production is a masterpiece that only one man could have made with the help of Tolkien of course. That man would be Peter Jackson. Jackson read the book as a young adult and thought that that would be an awesome movie and that he would love to see it when it came out. At that time he did not know that years down the road he would be the very man to make this epic trilogy. He along with tons of help from a wide range of staff have brought the fantastic writing of JRR Tolkien to life on film. From the screenplay to the acting to the sets and even the costumes, everything is done with a great willingness and effort to succeed. The time and the amount of the cast and crews lives went into this film are amazing. The details in the backgrounds are perfect; every costume, sword and make-up job looked as though it would be for the main character. The actors are fitted perfectly with the characters they have portrayed. The acting is amazing. The emotion in all the performances make you believe you are in Middle Earth yourself and not in a movie theatre or in the comfort of your home. The performances bring emotion, expression, and determination to succeed. Any one of the performances could make you want to act in an instance. Every person involved in the production should be very proud of the emotion they have given to every person in the audience. Even if that person was just a voice of a character, an extra, or a behind the scenes worker it all added to the big picture. The computer graphics were the best that many people have ever seen. From Gollum to the big fight scenes. Every thing was done amazingly and people will talk about it for years to come. The camera work was amazing; Jackson made the perfect angles and shots for every scene. There was never a scene where you thought I would have made it this way instead you were stunned by the scene and would not make any changes. Every thing about the Lord of the Rings Trilogy stunned and amazed people of all ages, every person involved no matter how big the role should be proud of what they have accomplished. They have set the limit for every movie to come. This Trilogy has made its mark in history. |
