Irmo

Irmo (the "Master of Desire") was one of the Valar. He was also more commonly called Lórien, which was the name of the gardens and dwelling place of Irmo. He was the master of visions and dreams.

He was also one of the two Fëanturi ("masters of spirits") along with his older brother Námo (Mandos).

The spouse of Irmo was Estë. Míriel, first wife of Finwë and mother of Fëanor, was brought to Lórien and cared for by Irmo and Estë when she had grown weary of living in Arda.
